Coronavirus (COVID-19) response

I am writing to provide an update on discussions around Cornonavirus and the operation of Connecting Young Carers services.

You will all understand that we are operating in unknown times and we do not underestimate the challenges COVID-19 presents to you all.

This communication aims to cover all aspects of our services:

o Counselling – With immediate effect all face-to-face counselling sessions are suspended until further notice. We do have virtual counselling available with no waiting list, please get in touch: Call us 07950 328 264 or e-mail bbrown@connectingcarers.org.uk

o Groups – All support groups (adult & young Carers) are suspended however we have online groups running regularly. Please visit our Facebook page for the up to date information: @connectingyoungcarers

Please can you “like” our Connecting Young Carers page ASAP on Facebook, or send Barbara an E-mail to sign up to our new CYC digital mailing list. This will enable us to keep in touch with everyone. bbrown@connectingcarers.org.uk

2020 Activities: We are unsure what the year ahead will look like due to the current restrictions in place for group activities. However as soon as we can we will be inviting you to join us at events you want to do. Therefore can you please fill in our new online survey ASAP here

Thank you for your understanding at this time.

Take care, stay safe.
